It's a basic marketing question, but unique in this particular application. The UVCO: SSGG website is an obvious medium, but we must find other ways.

Comment on Update from Central Oregon - When will we have the TLM celebrated?

I think that the problem in our area - and state - is that by and large the Faithful themselves are either unaware of the motu proprio and what it means. The bald fact that Mass according to the Missal of Blessed John XXIII has not been seen in Oregon east of the Cascades in over forty years means that at least two generations of Catholics have grown up with no knowledge or experience of this form of Mass, let alone that it is a principal part of their own sacred patrimony as Catholics.

One of the services the SSGG can provide is to disseminate non-polemical information to Catholics in Central Oregon about the older forms, in obedience to the clear directives of Pope Benedict XVI: "It behooves all of us to preserve the riches which have developed in the Church's faith and prayer, and to give them their proper place."
